ABOUT BLANK STUDIO
Daughters of Gaea have chosen to work with the production company Blank Studio, based in Bangalore, to sew our Indian collection. A sustainable, eco-friendly and ethical business, Studio Blank’s focus is on slow-fashion. The team are made up from a diverse mix of women from varied cultural backgrounds with a shared love of Indian textile manufacturing and innate craftsmanship.
THE FOUNDER
After travelling to factories across India, founder Shivangi came up with the concept for Blank Studio. By placing sustainability at its centre, along with a no minimum order policy and affordable pricing, Shivangi could develop a new way of manufacturing product line to support smaller businesses. Priding themselves on the highest quality of each item and drawing on the skills of the group of women at its heart, Blank Studio now works with designers across the world.
